Cancellations

  • We require a full 24 hours minimum notice of cancellation for one off genunine sickness or annual holiday. Where possible further advance notice should be given.
  • If the absence is for any other reason, we are unable to carry this forward, and the lesson/ride must be forfeited/paid for. This is to ensure that we are able to continue providing the riding at the prices that we do and to maintain your regular appointment time each week.
  • Cancellations must be made in person or by phone - we cannot accept cancellations by email.
  • Please also note that if you do need to phone the riding school the office is not manned on the horses' rest days - Mondays and Fridays.
  • Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Riding hats and what to wear

Riding hats must be worn by all riders. These are available for loan free of charge from the Riding School. Suitable footwear and clothing must also be worn.
Please review our advice on what to wear.

General safety

Horses can be unpredictable and riding carries risks. Riders will therefore be required to complete and sign a 'Rider Registration Form' to acknowledge the conditions of the Riding School and to confirm your previous experience. This will also help us select a suitable horse for you.
